Kanak Chaturvedi basically belongs to Hathras (U.P) from a
Brahman family and she is married to Mr. Atul Chaturvedi with the blessing of two children, one son and one daughter.
She and her family is pure vegetarian with a simple and impressive living culture. From very early age she learned for many
years with one guru, Ustad Jumman khan , after marriage she also learned from Prem Singh kinote ji for 20 years and in between
she learned gazal singing from Iqbal Siddiki sahib .
She is not rigged about learning from Gurus. Though she has learned classical singing since child hood but she sings all types
of north Indian music whether classical, semi classical, or light.
She also sings devotional songs as she has great faith in God. Though she hasn't taken singing as her carrier path but it’s
a very sensitive part of her life.
Kanak has some more important activities in life like reading, affection towards health, learning computer technology. She
is highly impressive in collection of good clothes, footwear and music.

Mrs. Kanak Chaturvedi , a leading vocalist in North India is top ranking artiste of All India Radio
and performs regularly on radio and television.
Mrs. Kanak is trained by Sri Iqbal Siddiqui. She is learning music since a very young age.
She has done her graduation from Agra University in 1975. She got her Nipun degree from Bhat Khande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow,
which is equivalent to post graduate degree and is eight-year course for Vocal Classical Music. She got her post graduation
degree in Ist Division from Kanpur University in 1995.
Presently she is working for her doctorate degree in Music under supervision of Dr. Alit Singh Paintball from Kanpur Univerity.
The title of which is "Bhartiya Sangeet Main Ada Rang evam Sadarang ki rachnaon ka sanitik evam sahityik moolyankan".
She is also teaching second year to seventh year classes of Prathama to Nipun since 1997 in Bhat Khande College of Hindustani
Music Lucknow.
She has to her credit, a number of great performances organized for different mahotsava., and music
CD released by Sri Muzzaffer Ali and sponsored by Digital Sound Music Company.
She is presently working as a senior consultant at Education Management Centre of Delhi Public School Society. She is also
working as Chief Coordinator of music for satellite link Musical Journey.
